My journey in the health profession began in 1995, as a massage therapist, Osteopathic assistant and gym/football trainer. I soon became inspired by Osteopathic philosophy and pursued study in Osteopathy and graduated from RMIT in 2000.
I worked as a locum in Australia and abroad. I lectured in clinical anatomy in relation to manual therapy before moving to Canberra. I have served both the profession, corporate health and the public. These roles were in health regulation in the ACT and on the national board in protecting the public through policy development and standards. Member of the accreditation board and accreditation team chartered with maintaining standards domestically and with international Osteopathy applications to Australia National President of Osteopathy Australia the national peak body representing Osteopathy. I have taught and assessed students at TAFE and university teaching settings. Served on reviewing of courses for validation at TAFE and steering committees for Universities. Developed and delivered corporate health courses with a multi disciplinary team. Currently work as a subject matter expert within Osteopathy and manual therapy. Supporting and contributing to research wherever possible.
