I have contributed to the healthcare community in Canberra for over 10-years, working with a multidisciplinary approach to patient management – regularly engaging with other allied healthcare clinicians and medical professionals to deliver a gold standard of patient-centered care.

As an experienced osteopath I treat and manage a diversity of patients presenting with musculoskeletal complaints of any variety; I have a wealth of experience working with people with complex health conditions and comorbidities. It is important for us, as health professionals, to work within our appropriate scope of practice; so I value strong referral relationships with clinicians from a variety of disciplines to assist in the delivery of this high standard of care.

What to expect from me is a transparent and honest communication style, delivered in a respectful, non-discriminatory and safe environment. I deliver appropriate hands-on treatment, prescribe exercises and stretches, educate, and recommend lifestyle advice and home-management strategies. Often, musculoskeletal complaints require a multidisciplinary approach; and I have trusted physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, remedial massage therapists and other health professionals that I refer to as part of your comprehensive management plan if indicated.

Please arrive at your consultation with a commitment to self-care and demonstrate curiosity. The more you educate yourself about why you have ended up in my care to begin with, the better you will be able to self-manage, maintain and prevent re- occurring complaints. Education is my passion, so you can expect to walk out with a thorough understanding of what is happening with your body and a plan to work towards a resolution.

I have a particular interest in treating conditions such as headaches, back and neck pain (particularly those with underlying intervertebral disc injuries), jaw (TMJ) pain and dysfunction, pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions and repetitive strain injuries.

My spare time is spent walking amongst nature, travelling, cooking and learning various new skills – I have experience in mentoring students and new-graduate osteopaths; and dedicate time within/outside-of a clinical environment to offer this service.
