The holistic nature of Osteopathy was a major factor that drove Brenton to study this at Victoria University and ultimately became his vocation. He enjoys working with patients to deliver the best evidence-based, patient-centred care for each individual and find strategies that fit their lifestyle. He is proficient in treating all ailments and has a particular interest in working with patients who suffer from headaches, neck, jaw pain and back pain. How each patient presents is different, and he will work with each individual to find an approach that works for them. He uses a variety of manual therapy techniques as well as some home or work-based strategies to implement the most efficient management plan and reduce chances of recurrence.
Whilst treating in a clinical environment is his passion, he is also a keen athlete and has attained both State Representation in Basketball and played overseas for Victorian Schools teams. This interest has now led him to tour Adelaide for the National Netball Championships with the Tasmanian team as an osteopath, overlooking their mixed senior netball and under 17 boys state teams.
He is a dedicated practitioner whose ultimate goal is to help his patients self-manage by providing them with the knowledge and resources to keep them functional and pain free.
Brenton is also fully trained in office ergonomic risk assessments and can provide assessments on behalf of Corporate Work Health Australia.
